NASCAR will this weekend travel to Newton, Iowa for two races at Iowa Speedway. NASCAR Xfinity Series and Camping World Truck Series will both race this weekend while the Sprint Cup Series is off. Iowa Speedway, opened for racing in 2006. The track is oval shaped and is 1.4 km (0.875 mile) long. Surface is asphalt with four turns. Banking in turn one and two; 12°-14°, frontstretch; 10° and backstretch 4°. Lap record is held by Helio Castroneves with 17.2283 sec. in 2014 (IndyCar Series). The stands currently capacity are 30 000 seats.
