NASCAR: Weekend Schedule for Daytona International Speedway

NASCAR will this weekend travel to Daytona Beach, Florida for two races at Daytona International Speedway. NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and Xfinity Series will both race this weekend while the Camping World Truck Series is off. Daytona International Speedway opened for racing in 1959. The track is tri-oval shaped and is 4.0 km (2.5 mile) long. Surface is asphalt with four turns. Banking in turns; 31°, tri-oval; 18° and back straightaway; 2°. Lap record is held by Colin Braun with 0:40.364 (358.837 km/h – 222.971 mph) in 2013. The stands currently capacity are 101 000 seats.
