NASCAR will this weekend travel to both Dover International Speedway (Dover, Delaware) and Las Vegas Motor Speedway (Las Vegas, Nevada) . NASCAR Xfinity and Sprint Cup Series will both race at Dover International Speedway while the Camping World Truck Series will race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Dover International Speedway, nicknamed “The Monster Mile”, opened for racing in 1969. The track is oval-shaped and is 1.6 km (1 mile) long. Surface is concrete with four turns. Banking in turns are 24 degrees and in the straights 9 degrees . Lap record is held by Dale Earnhardt Jr. with 1601.849 mph (22.243 sec.) in Sept. 27, 2013.. The stands currently capacity are 95 500 seats.
