NASCAR will this weekend travel to Dover, Delaware, for three races at Dover International Speedway. You will see stock cars from all three NASCAR Series; Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, Xfinity Series and Camping World Truck Series doing battle at the track. Dover International Speedway, or the “Monster Mile”, opened for racing in 1969. The track is oval shaped and is 1.6 km (1 mile) long. Surface is concrete with four turns, banking at the straits; 9° and in turns; 24°. Lap record, for NASCAR Series, is held by Brad Keselowski with 164.444 mph (21.892 seconds) in 2014. Most wins by an active driver at Dover International Speedway is Jimmie Johnson (30 races) with 10 wins. Capacity: Approximately 85,000 race fans.
