It’s is, once more, time for NASCAR super speedway racing at Talladega Superspeedway. The racetrack is located north of Talladega, Alabama, in a small town called Lincoln. Talladega Superspeedway was constructed in 1969 by the France family. With its 4.28 km long (2.66-mile) tri-oval asphalt surface, Talladega is the longest track in NASCAR. Banking in turn one and two; 33º, turn three; 32.4º and turn four; 32.5°, tri-oval; 16.5° and back straight; 3°. The stands capacity is, after reconstruction in 2013, 78000. Current lap record holder is Bill Elliott with a 0:44.998 lap in 1987. A record that I personally think never will be broken…
