NASCAR will this weekend travel to Watkins Glen, New York for two races at Watkins Glen International. NASCAR Xfinity Series and Sprint Cup Series will both race this weekend while the Truck Series is off. Watkins Glen International opened for racing in 1956. The track is a road course and is 3,949 km (2.454 mile) long. Surface is asphalt with eight turns. Lap record is held by David Porter with 1:05.437 in 2015 (Le Mans Prototype). The stands currently capacity are 38 900 seats.
