Below a Tv schedule for Atlanta Motor Speedway and Texas Motor Speedway March 2022. With Truck series and Indy Car back in action along with Cup and Xfinity we have a full schedule of racing this weekend. Some other events of interest this weekend: IMSA sports car, 12 hours of Sebring, Saturday 10:00 AM (16:00) for those who got access to Peacock and for us in Sweden on VIAPLAY .
The NASCAR western swing is over for this time after last weekend at Phoenix. I’m not going to say to much about the racing at Phoenix, our David Nance got that covered, ( Click here ). If we look at the racing got with the new car so far been OK especially at the intermediet tracks judging from what the TV coverage allow us to see. So I asked one of my friends that seen a race on hand at the track this year, about the racing this year.
Here’s what she had to say. “The racing that you see on TV this year has been pretty close to what you see at the race track. The difference this year has been the amount of close racing all thru the field. You miss the ability to see drivers moving up through each other moving to the front. TV focuses on the front, or certain drivers they like to show. The action live is non stop from the front to the back, even more so this year it seems. It’s fun to watch who is moving up and can surprise you who it is.”
There are still things for the Teams and NASCAR to keep a close look at, especially the tire and wheel situation after yet another wheel coming loose at Phoenix. Again we have an exciting racing weekend ahead of us as we heads into the unknown at the reconfigured and repaved Atlanta Motor Speedway, and not to forget Indy Cars at Texas Motor Speedway.

Tentative plan: Xfinity, truck teams will have tech today. They will then have 40-minute practices Saturday so would assume limited adjustments. They will then be impounded for their races Saturday. … Cup teams will practice 50 minutes Saturday, then have tech Sunday morning.
Update for Saturday:
Truck and Xfinity will practice tomorrow; no qualifying — lineup set by metric.
