Below a TV Schedule for Phoenix and St. Peterburg. NASCAR Cup and Xfinity series are at Phoenix Raceway this weekend along with ARCA Menards Series. Truck Series will have an off weekend but are back in action next Saturday at Bristol Motors Speedway. I’m mostly looking forward to Sundays Cup-race and the first insight on if the development work NASCAR had put in has improved the short track racing, that with the “new car” been a bit dull. The NASCAR testing in the post season came up with a new short track package included a three-inch rear spoiler and some modifications to the diffuser in the rear. Because of these changes to the car from last season, the Cup teams was given a 50-minute practice session Friday afternoon.
Indy Car starts off their season this weekend at the streets of St. Petersburg, Florida. This season is going to be a really exciting to follow. Not only have we got three Swedish driver in the series we also have some names in new places and some new ones as well.
NHRA dragracing will be back this weekend with the Classic Gatornationas, from Gainsville so check for details about the event here.
IMSA Sports Car are back in action next weekend from Seabring.
Some other events of interest; No Supercross this weekend, but Moto GP is on From Quatar, check your local NBC channels coverage. F1 is racing again this weekend from Saudi Arabia. Coverage on ESPN, check your local TV provider for details. V SPORT MOTOR / VIAPLAY got the coverage over the weekend here for both F1 and Moto GP.
